Evans extends Manchester City stay

Wales Under-21 striker Ched Evans has signed a three-year extension to his contract with Manchester City FC, keeping him at the club until 2011.

 The 19-year-old, who spent last season on loan with Norwich City FC, has scored seven times in U21 qualifying and hit the winner on his senior debut against Iceland in May. "[The contract] takes me up until I'm 22, so it's good to not have to worry about things for a while," he said.
